Stay Positive When It Comes to Nutrition

January 8, 2018

We’re starting week 2 of the Whole 30 Challenge (or whatever nutritional change you’re implementing this month) and it’s so important that you stay positive to keep your momentum going.

A positive mindset is critical to keeping you on track. The easiest way to stay positive? Think addition rather than subtraction. Yes, the whole 30 is basically an elimination diet/reset, but rather than thinking about everything you can’t eat, think about all the great foods you can eat. If you only focus on what you can’t eat, you’ll end up grumpy, resentful and probably won’t keep any of the good habits you’re developing.

Struggling to think of all the great foods you can eat? Spend 15 minutes online, on the Whole 30 instagram account or reading through a whole 30 cookbook. There’s plenty of awesome foods out there so try to get outside your comfort zone and try something new!

Don’t forget, Open Gym is now here, Monday through Thursday from 7pm-830pm. Equipment will be available for goal specific training, “Restore” exercises, etc. and coaches are available for assessments, personal goal setting and the like.
