Your Post-Slash Plan

There are only 8 days left in the Sugar Slash and while we want to stay focused for the home stretch, it’s also important to start thinking about how you’ll be eating after the Slash is over. For example, it would not be a good idea to head to Dunkin’ Donuts next Wednesday morning on your way into work!In all seriousness though, it can be so easy to revert back to old habits after a challenge like this. The key is finding balance. I like to think about an 80%/20% split-80% of the time keep yourself on point, and 20% of the time allow yourself some slack. 100% clean isn’t sustainable over the long haul, and anything less than 80% really won’t give you the results you’re looking for.We’ve all made some amazing progress this month, so make sure to take 10-15 minutes this week to plan how you’ll incorporate added sugars back into your diet so that you can find that 80/20 split. Remember, plan your work and work your plan!
